Someday, it’s gonna make sense

I recently read a post from a student off her blog and this is worth the share:

Someday, everything’s going to make sense…

Did it ever dawn to you that everything that happened in your life makes perfect sense?

All the pain…
All the sorrows…
All the hardships….

All of them constitute to that strong woman standing in front of the mirror.

Is it you? Is it still the kind of picture you visualize yourself in your dream? Or has that clumsy cry-baby have finally outgrown her scaredy-cat self and instead turned herself into a refined, strong-willed woman?

Oh, how swiftly time flies by…
I was a coward, the coward was I.
How indefinite, how indefinite it truly is!
The sands of time faded the pain of yesterday,
This cup of courage of today uplifts my soul in every way.

Did it ever make perfect sense now?

Why you failed in that exam,
Why you were bullied back then,
Why your mother seems to like your brother more…

Isn’t it all because your past was just preparing you to welcome the wholesome new version of you today? Haven’t all those things you experienced in the past taught you something?

They all happened to prepare you, to ready your cowardly heart.

Different perspectives.Β Read more at Nerissa’s blog

  5. Perhaps, among of the most erroneous of misconceptions we humans have is our perspective towards hardships. They’re no tests, no assaults either. In fact, they’re the more generous aspect of our lives; they hand us the armor we need against the beating tide. lol
